On-Site Installation and Commissioning
After the machines arrived at the customer’s workshop, our engineer carried out a complete installation and commissioning process, including:
- Machine installation and leveling
- Electrical and CNC system inspection
- Spindle and X/Z axis operation checks
- Chuck, tool post, and tailstock inspection
- CNC parameter and function verification
- Trial machining and performance testing
- Operator training and maintenance guidance
Following commissioning and trial operation, both CDK6160 machines successfully completed the required functional checks and were prepared for the customer’s production needs.
CDK6160 — Compact Design with Large Spindle Bore
The CDK6160 CNC Pipe Threading Lathe combines a compact machine structure with a large through-hole capacity, making it particularly suitable for machining pipes, tubular components, shafts, and other general turning parts.
A key feature of this model is its Φ225 mm spindle bore with dual 3-jaw chucks. Long pipes and tubular workpieces can pass through the spindle and be supported at two clamping positions, providing stable workpiece holding during turning and threading operations.

Operator Training for Smooth Production
To help the customer quickly put the machines into operation, our engineer also provided practical on-site training for the customer’s operators.
Training focused on GSK 980TDi CNC operation, workpiece clamping, tool setting, basic programming, machining procedures, tailstock operation, daily inspection, and routine maintenance.
Through hands-on operation and trial machining, the operators became familiar with the complete workflow from machine preparation and workpiece setup to CNC machining and daily maintenance.
